In 2011, Pennsylvania American Water Company put a number of tanks out for repainting work. Among them were two 1,000,000-gallon standpipes located in Berwick, PA. These tanks were last painted in the late 1980s and were in desperate need of refurbishment. They had an exterior urethane system and an interior epoxy system. Pennsylvania State University, located in State College, PA, recently undertook a massive water improvement project. The project involved raising and repainting two elevated tanks and demolishing, replacing and painting another. Though each tank rehabilitation presented unique challenges and involved varying contractors, Induron supplied the specified paints for the entire project.

Due to recent construction and required repairs, two 2-2 MG ground storage tanks in Valparaiso, IN needed some maintenance. One tank was located near the airport and the other tank was near Flint Lake. Induron supplied painting contractor Jetco Painting with the necessary products to get the job done. 
Water towers in small towns are often local, and sometimes even iconic, landmarks. Stanton, Iowa happens to have two treasured water towers—a 40,000-gallon coffee pot tank and a 150,000-gallon coffee cup tank. You can’t have a pot without a cup, right? Well, that’s what the town of Stanton decided. 
Texarkana Water Utilities (TWU) decided its 400,000-gallon pedisphere water storage vessel located in Texarkana, Texas was due for some maintenance. TWU also realized they had a problem to address before beginning the project—the tank’s location. Because the tank was located in a residential area and surrounded by homes, TWU hoped to avoid disturbing the local neighborhood residents in any way.
