Thank you, Dick Belliveau

After 8 years of hard work, Induron Sales Representative Dick Belliveau has announced his well-deserved retirement. Before we let him go, we asked him to reflect on his career at Induron. Here’s what Dick had to say:

Q: How did your time at Induron shape your career?

A: After working for a large corporation, the culture at Induron was a welcomed change of pace. I appreciated working for a smaller, family-owned company where my input was valued.

Q: How did the coatings industry evolve during your time at Induron?

A: Kendall Smith and I started a new division for Induron that focused on the electric power market. Specifically, transmission structure, substation structure and equipment painting.

Q: What is something you are proud to have accomplished while working at Induron.

A: In 2010, we had about $50,000 in sales in the power market, and in 2018, our sales will exceed $1.5 million.

Q: How did the relationships you built during your time at Induron impact you?

A: The support Kendall and I received from the office and production staff while building the new division was second-to-none!

Q: What’s next?

A: I chose to retire in November because the month is full of pre-deer hunting season tasks that I thoroughly enjoy. My wife and I will also have time for snowmobiling, ice fishing and other winter sports when she retires in February. We are also heading to Nevada for a couple of months of warm weather, sunshine and golf! I will also have the pleasure of acting as a consultant for Induron in the power market to continue to help the company grow.

“Dick is one of the most likeable guys who has ever worked for Induron,” said Davies Hood, Induron President. “His hands-on approach, especially regarding the application of Induron’s line of T&D products was appreciated and will be missed. However, I will miss Dick’s positive personality the most! He is always smiling and has an unforgettable laugh!”

While we are sad to see him go, we are excited to have him as a consulting member of our team going forward. Dick, you have made us and the company better, and for that we thank you. Enjoy your retirement!
