In order to better serve its surrounding community, Ralls County in Hannibal, Missouri planned to construct a new water treatment plant. Klingner and Associates, a multi-office engineering group in the midwest, was awarded the challenge to design the new facility. Pre-PrimerWhen three large concrete clarifiers at Adams Field Water Reclamation Facility in Little Rock, Arkansas began showing signs of erosion, owner/engineer Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority contracted Thomas Industrial Coatings to coat the weir troughs before additional loss occurred and more costly repairs were required. Thomas Industrial Coatings turned to Induron Protective Coatings for coatings expertise and product specifications for the project.

What Do you Get When High Performance Coatings and Quality Craftsmanship Meet to Take on Settling Basins?

In 2018, Induron teamed with Texarkana Water Utilities (TWU) to develop specifications for their uncoated, aging settling basins. The basins were in critical need of refurbishment. After several inspections to assess the condition of the basins, and working within the regulations unique to the region, specifications were written for the rehabilitation of the structures.
