We are excited to welcome Glenda Curry to the Induron team! With over two decades of experience in the elevated tank industry, Glenda brings a deep well of technical knowledge, trusted relationships, and a passion for helping customers make informed decisions about protecting their infrastructure.
After years of collaborating with engineers and municipal owners nationwide—and a well-timed call from our own Joey Thomas—Glenda joined Induron to help expand our footprint in the Texas water and wastewater markets. Her expertise, enthusiasm, and Texas pride are already making an impact. We’re thrilled to have Glenda on board as we continue building meaningful relationships and providing high-performance coatings across the region!

Q: Tell us about your background, experience in the paint/coatings industry and how you came to work for Induron.
A: For over 20 years, I worked for a major elevated tank manufacturer. In my previous role, I served as a technical resource for municipal owners and engineers on tank projects across the U.S. My responsibilities included specification reviews, site assessments, budgeting, and, most importantly, building good relationships with customers. The elevated tank market is quite competitive; that’s where I first crossed paths with Joey Thomas. When Joey heard that I was a “free agent,” he called to gauge my interest in Induron. His timing was perfect. During my interview and tour in Birmingham, I was truly impressed by the authenticity of the team and knew that I wanted to be part of Induron’s growth plans for Texas.
Q: What are your responsibilities in your new role?
A: My responsibilities to Induron will be to spread the word about Induron’s capabilities and to expand the Texas market for water and wastewater – generating sales and making sure that Induron is represented in specifications across multiple markets.
Q: Why Induron?
A: In only a weeks’ time, I have received calls and texts from many members of the Induron team. Each person I have talked with explained their role and offered me support. This further underscores the friendliness I experienced during the interview process. As an extra treat, I was able to join the team in Denver at the AWWA ACE 2025 show. The Induron hospitality event at Coors Field was attended by a carefully curated group of “tankies.” The Giants came from behind to beat the Rockies, so Davies was in an extra good mood!
Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?
A: The most challenging part of my job is probably business travel. Virtual meetings are okay, but nothing beats sitting face-to-face with a customer, especially early in the relationship.
Q: Are you seeing any new trends in the coatings industry? If so, please describe.
A: As products become more expensive in all areas, I believe more customers realize that overall value – not low cost – should be considered in capital expenditures. Coatings are a critical component to an elevated tank, and the area where an owner can (and should) have the knowledge to make an informed decision on how they protect their asset
Q: Tell us about a project you’ve worked on that you’re especially proud of.
A: I handled many elevated tank projects over the years, but I’m most proud of the composite elevated tank in the middle of Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. The firm was behind in the negotiations, but based on my relationship with Cedar Fair, pulled ahead and secured the contract. The completion was extremely tight and required winter work on the shores of Lake Erie. One of my favorite hobbies is riding roller coasters, so I can see the tank when I make my annual trip to Cedar Point.
Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: The best advice I’ve ever received is easy – “the answer is no until you ask.” I’ve been amazed at the doors that opened for me when I simply took the time to ask.
Q: If you could have dinner with any person living or dead, who would it be and why?
A: I would love to have dinner with Winston Churchill, George S. Patton, and Queen Elizabeth. Table for four, please.
Q: Tell us a little about your family, pets and/or hobbies.
A: My husband Jeff has had a profound influence on my life. He’s never lacking in encouragement or support for my endeavors but will also provide wisdom when I seek clarity.
Jeff and I will celebrate our 38th anniversary in July. We are both proud Texans – born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and met at Haltom High School. We share our home in Trophy Club with two parrots (Shamrock (Yellow Nape Amazon) and Larry Bird (African Gray)) and four orange tabby cats. I am a competitive baker – in 2012, I won Best of Show at the State Fair of Texas with my coconut oatmeal cake. I have a dedicated sunroom where I grow orchids and other houseplants. Jeff and I also enjoy improving our home with DIY projects.
