A Partnership Built on Trust

By: Andy Odorzynski, Induron National Sales Manager

Visit with Dixon EngineeringLong before our products are applied to a structure, our partners in the business of specifying coatings must select the right technology for the project and write it into a specification. I believe this is best handled through deep partnership and open communication. It is with that spirit in mind that we recently hosted our friends from Dixon Engineering at our headquarters Birmingham, AL.  Continue reading A Partnership Built on Trust

Introducing Novasafe: A New NOVALAC Epoxy for Rehabilitation of Steel and Concrete in Extreme Wastewater Environments

By: William Seawell, Induron Protective Coatings Director of Technical Service

Novasafe

In the current regulatory and financial climate, water utilities are increasing their focus on the state of their currently in-service treatment plant assets, including aeration basins, clarifiers, grit chambers, chlorine contact basins etc. All these assets have an increasingly apparent need for linings and corrosion solutions that can be installed on site. Likewise, in a period of increased influent volume, more chemically extreme influent, and increasing regulatory pressure, there is a rising need for immersion coating maintenance in treatment plants.

Sales Retreat to Cancun: More in ’24!

By: Davies Hood, Induron President

Every year, the Induron sales team gathers for our annual Sales Meeting. This is not different from most every other successful organization, and usually these meetings consist of some hands-on product demonstration, goal setting for the team, and some sort of “rah-rah.” Whether that “rah-rah” is in the form of sharing successes or a classic halftime “chew-out” depends in part on how the last year went. This year, instead of a more traditional “sales meeting,” we decided to take the entire Induron team ALONG WITH THEIR spouses and significant other’s to a resort in Playa Mujeres (Cancun), Mexico.  Continue reading Sales Retreat to Cancun: More in ’24!

Coatings are NOT a Commodity

By: Andy Odorzynski, Induron National Sales Manager

I spend the vast majority of my time speaking with clients who are preparing to make 6-figure coatings purchases and attempting to weigh their options. It’s common for the people in these buying/specifying roles to seek parity among suppliers–to create an “apples-to-apples” comparison between multiple products/companies. This journey inevitably leads to commodity thinking: the belief that what’s inside the can is all the same, so it doesn’t really matter.  Continue reading Coatings are NOT a Commodity

By: Paul Powers, Induron Regional Sales Manager

During the summer of 2022, the coatings protecting the City of Caseyville, Illinois’ Wastewater Treatment Plant assets reached their performance life expectancy.
