Product Overview
Perma-Clean 100 SL is an NSF 600 potable water tank lining featuring single-leg applied 100% solids ceramic epoxy technology. This aliphatic amine epoxy may be used as a liner for steel or concrete water tanks and may also be specified for immersion service in treatment plant services such as clarifiers or aeration basins. Certified to NSF 61/600 standards and compliant with AWWA D102 ICS-3 specifications.

Application Specifications
Application Methods
Single Leg Airless Spray: Remove all filters from spray system, use pump capable of 2,000 psi line pressure; 0.027-0.031 spray tip. Spray material at 90-105°F as measured at the gun. Graco Viscon in-line heater recommended. Insulated or heated hoses recommended for hose runs over 100 ft and cool ambient temperatures.
Perma-Clean 100 Cartridge Repair Kit: Tape off area to be repaired, pump cartridge five times into a waste cup to initiate mixing prior to applying material to substrate. See cartridge repair kit data sheet.
Brush and Roll: Recommended for small areas only.
Mix Ratio & Pot Life
Mix Ratio: 1:1 by volume A:B, pre-mix components prior to combining
Pot Life:
- • 50°F: 3 hours
- • 75°F: 1.5 hours
- • 90°F: 45 minutes
Thinning
Do not thin. Use K-1070 or K-1034 for cleanup only.
Application Temperature: All steel temperatures must be ≥5°F above the dewpoint. Substrate temperature range: 40°F - 140°F. Material temperature range: 40°F - 120°F. Humidity range: 0% - 95% RH.
Surface Preparation
All substrates must be clean and dry, free of dirt, oils, greases and contaminants.
Carbon Steel
Abrasive blast to SSPC SP-10 with a 1-3 mil profile.
Concrete
Abrasive blast as per SSPC SP-13 to an ICRI CSP 3 or greater. Can be applied over Mortarchem and EFS 707.
Repairs, Small Areas
SSPC SP-11 power tool to bare metal to produce an angular profile.

Storage: Store long term between 35°F and 90°F
Pre-Application: Recommend heating material to 50-70°F in the 24 hours prior to application for ease of use
