Induron Honored as Small Business of the Year Finalist


Last week, Induron was honored as a finalist in the
Business Council of Alabama’s Small Business of the Year Awards. The Small Business of the Year awards highlight, recognize and showcase the best of the best in small businesses across our state. 

“Small business is the backbone of our state’s economy. We all know that small businesses provide the most jobs and make the most economic impact,” said Jeremey Arthur, President and CEO of Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama during the Zoom award presentation. “In short, small business is essential and vitally important.” The virtual presentation can be viewed here.

As a third-generation family-owned small business, we are extremely proud of this recognition. 

In our 73 years of operation in Birmingham, Alabama, we have worked through various company focuses, but our family-like values and culture remain constant.Induron Sales Representative Paul Powers shared what it means to work or a small, family-owned business in this video. 

Being a small, family-owned business not only establishes a family-like company culture, but it also provides Induron with a competitive advantage. Induron’s Technical Services Director Ben Rowland summarizes Induron’s size advantage in this video.
