Application Specifications
Application Methods
Induraguard 9200 can be applied using multiple methods to suit various project requirements:
Airless Spray: Use .019-.025 tip at 2500-3000 PSI atomizing pressure. Use 3/8" or 1/2" material hose with 30 mesh filter for optimal flow.
Brush Application: Use high quality natural bristle brushes. Work coating into surface to ensure proper adhesion and coverage.
Roller Application: Use solvent resistant medium to long nap roller covers. Maintain wet edge to avoid lap marks.
Surface Preparation
- • Steel: Clean per SSPC-SP1 and abrasive blast to SSPC-SP6/NACE No. 3 or SSPC-SP10/NACE No. 2
- • Aged Galvanized: Power wash or power tool clean to remove all loose material and contaminants
- • All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contamination before coating
Application Conditions
Temperature: Apply when surface and ambient temperatures are between 45°F and 100°F
Humidity: Relative humidity should not exceed 85% during application and cure
Storage: Store between 45°F and 90°F. Keep from freezing. Condition material to 70-80°F before use for best results.
